I’m working on a further newly created role for a sports media technology client based in London.

They are expanding their Java squad as they have just begun a very exciting new platform build which will support their move in to the US. Already an established leader in the UK and Europe, they are a team of 200 and growing.

The role will offer the chance to work on the latest stack with the best tools available and you will be working on complex challenges related to huge data sets, concurrency, scalability and infrastructure.

It’s being built with a Microservices architecture and you will be helping to build new REST apis which will be returning accurate data within milliseconds from this new feeds platform.

The role will involve full end to end delivery of the new services. A distributed, realtime, messaging platform.

You will be working on clean, fully tested, containerised code with the following;

• Java 8/11

• SpringBoot

• GCP

• ElasticSearch

• BigQuery

• NoSQL

• Kafka

• Kubernetes

• Docker

• Junit
