Java Software Engineer

60-85K base

An established, global financial software vendor is looking to bring in 3 Java Software Engineers.

You will be working on financial greenfield projects, developing a range of services for their BigData Analytics platform.

This platform is used by Tier 1 banking and Hedge Fund clients to enable them to make data driven decisions in real time.

This role would interest those engineers looking for more than a coding role- writing algorithms and engaging in problem solving sessions to answer some of the most difficult questions being asked in the financial markets.

Working with a young, driven team in a very open and collaborative environment.

You will have a strong understanding of OOP, Data Structures and Computer Science in general.

Looking for strong Java knowledge- aside from that, a desire to learn and work with the following;

• Java

• SpringBoot
• AWS/GCP
• Kafka
• React
• K8S
• NoSQL

Base salary £60-85K DOE.

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ development experience.

The role is being offered as a Hybrid- 3 days working from home and the rest of the week in their brand new open plan offices based near Covent Gardens.

Travel and work out of their New York and Sydney offices is available if this is of interest.
